Our Staff

Sarah Rule is the prinicipal of our ever expanding Christian academy.  She also teaches in our Lower and Middle Learning Centers.  Sarah holds an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education (DMACC, 2003) and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (University of Iowa, 2006) with specializations in Reading and Language Arts.  Sarah is in her fourth year of teaching.  Her favorite part of teaching is hearing the funny things that her students have to say.  Follow this link to connect to Sarah's calendar of school events.

 

Sara McDonald is our Kindergarten teacher.  She graduated from Ozark Bible Institute in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Missions.  Sara has spent time serving on the mission field in Guatemala.  During her time there, she traveled around speaking to different cell groups.  She also spent time working in Children's Ministry while in Guatemala.  Sara is in her first year of teaching.  Her favorite part of teaching is seeing a child have that "aha" moment when they learn something.

 

David McDonald is our Upper Learning Center Supervisor.  David also serves as the Youth Pastor at Heritage.  He has a passion for working with teens and encouraging them to develop a strong walk with the Lord while they are young.  David is in his first year of teaching. 

 

Olin Robinson and Crissie Virden also serve at Heritage Christian Academy.

 Special Note  Monday May 10 through Friday May 17 is our last week of school, as well as Spirit Week. In honor of this your child is welcome to participate by dressing up for the following days:

Monday May 10  Mismatch day- dress as crazy as you can!

Tuesday May 11 Decade days- pick a decade and dress like they did.

Wednesday May 12 Twin day - plan ahead so you can match someone else.

Thursday May 13 Crazy Hair day- anything goes, as long as it will wash out.

Friday May 14 Professional day- dress for the job you'd like to have when you grow up.
